Traditional Hungarian pork stew with a rich, flavorful sauce, served with tarhonya. Yum!

Chop the onion and cube the pork. Let's get cooking!
In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the onion until it's translucent and golden. Get that flavor base going!
Remove from heat, add the paprika, stir quickly, and then add a little water to prevent burning. We don't want any burnt paprika!
Add the diced pork, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until it turns white.
Pour in enough water to just cover the meat. Add the crushed garlic and caraway seeds.
Cook over low heat, covered, for 60-75 minutes, or until the meat is tender. Add water as needed from time to time. Kis Kukta says: Patience is key here!
Meanwhile, cook the tarhonya: in a pan, toast it in a little oil until golden brown, then pour in twice the amount of hot water, add salt, and cook until it absorbs all the water. Tarhonya perfection? Kukta AI knows the secret!
Serve the pork stew with the tarhonya, and pickles if you like. Dream big, eat well!
